Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! Let me start by introducing myself!

My name is Butters, and I’m a little rescue dog with the biggest heart. I’m from California, and my new mom adopted me during the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020. I have no idea why I was surrendered by my first mom after 2 1/2 years with her, but I know she wanted me to have the best shot at a full and long life.

I was born on Dec 10, 2017, which makes me almost 3 years old! My favorite activities are sunbathing and playing fetch. I love snuggling with humans and am usually curious about other dogs and animals. My mom thinks I’m a mixed breed of Maltese, Shih Tzu, and Yorkshire Terrier – Malshorkie for short!

Life with my new mom has been amazing! She works at home on most days, so we hang out all the time. I’m certified as an Emotional Support Animal, which means that my job is to help my mom improve her mental health by being her Diehard #1 fan. I smother her with love, and she spoils me back! When I try new toys and treats that I love, I will share with you guys so you can be spoiled too 🙂
